DTC 14-4: Faulty power supply to the front
passenger's side impact sensor
1. Erase t h e DTC m e m o r y (see page 23-45).
2. Turn t h e ignition switch ON (II), and check that the
SRS indicator light comes o n f o r about 6 seconds
and then goes off.
Does the SRS indicator
light stay
on?
Y E S - G o t o step 3.
NO—Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
Go t o Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see
page 23-45).
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF. Disconnect the
negative battery cable, and w a i t for 3 minutes.
4. Disconnect the side w i r e harness 2P connector (A)
f r o m the driver's and front passenger's side
airbags (B).
5. Disconnect the right side wire harness 2P
connector (A) f r o m the front passenger's side
impact sensor (B).

6. Disconnect SRS unit connector B (14P) f r o m the
SRS unit.
