W i n d o w Antenna Test
1. W r a p a l u m i n u m foil (A) a r o u n d the tip of the tester
probe (B) as shown.

2. Touch 1 tester probe to the w i n d o w antenna
terminal (A) hear, and m o v e the other tester probe
along the antenna wires t o check that continuity
exists. Repair if continuity does not exist.

W i n d o w Antenna Repair
NOTE; To make an effective repair, the broken section
must be no longer than 1 inch.
1. Lightly rub the area around the broken section (A)
w i t h fine steel w o o l , then clean it w i t h alcohol.

2. Carefully mask above and below the broken portion
of the w i n d o w antenna wire (B) w i t h cellophane
tape (C).
3. Mix the silver conductive paint thoroughly. Using a
small brush, apply a heavy coat of paint (A)
extending about 1/8" on both sides of the break.
A l l o w 30 minutes t o dry.
4. Check for continuity in the repaired wire.
5. A p p l y a second coat of paint in the same way. Let it
dry 3 hours before removing the tape.
