Control Unit Input Test
1. Before testing exterior light control functions, troubleshoot the multiplex control system (see page 22-137).
M u l t i p l e x C o n t r o l U n i t , Driver's:
2. Remove the driver's multiplex control unit f r o m the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
3. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making g o o d contact.
• If the terminals are b e n t loose or corroded, repair t h e m as necessary, and recheck the system.
• If the terminals look OK, go to step 4.

4. Make these input tests at the connector or fuse/relay box socket.
• If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
* If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.
