Trunk Light Test
1. O p e n the t r u n k l i d .
2. Pry out the t r u n k light assembly.
3. Disconnect t h e 2P connector (A) f r o m the housing
<B).
4. Open the trunk light cover (C).
5. Make sure that the bulb (D) is OK. Check for
continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
6. If there is no continuity replace the trunk light
assembly.
Trunk Lid Latch Switch Test
1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (without keyless entry/
security alarm system), or 6P connector (with
keyless entry/security alarm system) f r o m the trunk
latch.

3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each
switch position according t o the table.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the
trunk lid latch switch.
