Symptom
White or color The drum cartridge has
patches appear deteriorated or been
vertically. damaged.
The toner cartridge has run
out of toner.
Paper feed
direction
The printout is The paper cassette's paper
slanted. guides are not aligned to the
correct position.
Possible Cause
Replace the drum cartridge with a new one.
Refer to "Replacing the Drum Cartridge" (P.233).
Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
Refer to "Replacing the Toner Cartridge" (P.227).
Align the horizontal and vertical paper guides
properly.
Refer to "Loading Paper in Trays 1 and 2" (P.64).
