Maintenance
Use the [Maintenance] menu to initialize the NV (non-volatile) memory, configure the plain
paper quality adjustment settings, and configure the security settings.

Values:
Print Auditron
Purpose:
To specify whether to limit the print functions that can be used per user by Auditron
authentication.
Values:
No Account User Print
Purpose:
To specify whether to permit the printing of data without authentication information.
Values:
Auto Color To Mono Print
Purpose:
To specify whether to automatically change the color of the print jobs requested to be
printed in color into black and white.
Values:
Calibration
Purpose:
To automatically calibrate colors when the reproducibility of density or color in copies and
prints deteriorates.
Follow the instructions on the screen to calibrate the colors for copy and print jobs.
• For copy jobs, when [Output Color] is set to [Black & White], calibration is not applied.
• During auto calibration, the machine cannot receive print jobs and faxes, or sending and receiving
data via the network. Also, the machine cannot enter the Power Saver mode.
• For [Calibration Target], select from [Copy/Print], [Copy], [Print], and [None]. When [Copy/Print] is
not selected for [Calibration Target], calibration is not valid for the mode not listed in [Calibration
Target].
• If color is not calibrated despite the periodic execution of auto calibration, contact our Customer
Support Center.
