Usage Guidelines
An Altitude 300 AP usually loads its runtime image from the flash instead of TFTP server if the AP
flash contains the latest runtime image version. This command can be used to force-upgrade one or
more APs with the specified image on the TFTP server without checking the version of the AP image
downloaded from the TFTP server.
Before you use this command, configure the runtime image for the specified wireless ports.
Upon execution of this command, the AP resets and replaces the flash image with the specified image
on the TFTP server.
This command may be useful for support personnel in certain circumstances during troubleshooting.
Example
The following example force-upgrades the runtime image for wireless port 1:1:
clear wireless ports 1 : 1 flash-image
AP(s) for which runtime image is configured will be reset and force-upgraded with the
network image without any version checking.
