download image hostname filename {primary | secondary} [slot <slot-id>]
Description
Downloads a new version of the ExtremeWare software image to the stack.
Syntax Description
primary
secondary
slot-id
Default
Stores the downloaded image in the current location (the location used for the last reboot) in all active
members of the stack .
Usage Guidelines
This command downloads images to the appropriate slot. If the primary or secondary information is
not given, the image is downloaded to the active partition of the slot. If the slot is not specified, the
image is downloaded to the all active slots.
Use the
show slot
platform-types.
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.4.
This command was modified in ExtremeWare 7.7 to download the image to all active slots.
Platform Availability
This command is only available with stacking on the Summit 200, Summit 300-24, and Summit 400
switches.

Specifies that the new image should be stored as the primary image.
Specifies that the new image should be stored as the secondary image.
Specifies that the new image should be stored in the particular slot in a stack. If the slot is not
specified, the image is downloaded to all active members of the stack.
