19.3
Scanning All Target Zones for Scanning (Multi Scan)
The transceiver scans using Multi Scan all the channels or GID to be scanned in the zones to be scanned.
The transceiver scans all target channels or GIDs in the target zones.
If the scan starts from a zone in a Conventional Group or an LTR Trunking system, the transceiver scans all channels or
GIDs targeted to be scanned in the targeted zones, except for the zone in an NXDN Trunking system.
If the scan starts from a zone in an NXDN Trunking system, the transceiver scans all GIDs targeted to be scanned in the
targeted zones, except for the zone in a Conventional Groups or LTR Trunking system.
If another zone is selected during the Multi Scan, the transceiver starts the scan according to the configuration for Scan
Type in the selected zone.
Following are the zone channels (or GIDs) to be scanned:
The zone configured to be scanned using KPG-111D /DN or the Zone Delete/Add key
The channel or GID configured to be scanned using KPG-111D/ DN or the Scan Delete/Add key
The Priority Channels in all zones except for the zone in an NXDN Trunking system (for a Conventional Group
and LTR Trunking system only)
For using Multi Scan, "Multi" must be configured by KPG-111D/ DN for Scan Type in a Conventional Group or an LTR
Trunking system, and "Multi" must be configured for Scan Type (NXDN Trunking) in an NXDN Trunking system.
Note
• If Selected CH/GID Scan is enabled, the selected channel or GID can be scanned even if the channel or GID is excluded from the
target channels or GIDs for scanning. (Refer to
• In an NXDN Trunking system, a Group ID for which "ALL" is configured or a Group ID configured for Priority Monitor ID is always
scanned regardless of whether the Group ID is configured to be scanned or not.
• In multiple systems in an NXDN Trunking System, only the zone using the same system as the system used in the zone where the
transceiver starts scanning will be scanned.
• If using Multi Scan, the transceiver pauses scanning when the zone is changed to a zone which is not configured using the Selector
for which "Zone Select" is configured. (NX-200/ NX-200S/ NX-300/ NX-300S only)
• During a Multi Scan in an NXDN Trunking system, only the Priority Monitor ID configured for the zone which is selected when the scan
starts is used as a Priority Monitor ID. (Refer to
