8.15 Sending GPS Data

Configuring the GPS Combination (Emergency) (
Sending GPS Data during Voice Communications (Data with Voice)
The transceiver can multiplex GPS data on audio data and send the data during voice communications.
If the timing of automatic GPS data transmission configured for GPS Report Internal Time comes while the transceiver is
sending audio data, the transceiver multiplex GPS data on the audio data and send the data.
Note
• If the transceiver is being used for voice communications and receives GPS data, LCD display, LED, and Alert Tone will function
according to the configurations for voice calls.
• On a channel where "Very Narrow" is configured for Channel Spacing, note that the sound quality may be degraded if the amount of
time configured for the GPS Report Interval Time is short.
