Gearbox Assembly Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the
PTO, turn the ignition off and remove the key.
2. Raise the seat.
3. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery.
4. Remove the front engine panel (Fig. 687).

5. Remove the right rear wheel and tire assembly (Fig.
688).
6. Using a spring tool (Toro p/n: 92-5771) unhook the
spring from the gearbox idler assembly (Fig. 689).
