HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Purging the Hydraulic System
The hydraulic system is normally self-bleeding however;
it may be necessary to bleed the system if fluid is
changed, or after work is performed on the system.
1. Raise rear of the machine so the wheels are off the
ground and support it with jack stands (Fig. 320).

2. Start the engine and run it at low idle speed. Engage
the motion control lever on one side and spin the
wheel by hand (Fig. 321).

3. When the wheel begins to spin on its own, keep it
engaged until the wheel drives smoothly (minimum 2
minutes).
4. Check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir and
add as required to maintain proper level.
5. Repeat this procedure on the opposite wheel.
