THE CARBURETOR
A carburetor performs three important functions:
l
]It vari es the air-fuel ra tio according to the operating conditions and requirements of
the engine;
2] It produces o mixture which is properly atom ized. Atomization is them ixing
of
a ir ond
a liquid to form o line spray or mist. Atomization o f the fuel is as important as is the
correct a ir-fuel mixture.
3] 1 1 regulates the amount of air-fuel mixture requ ired by the engine

FUNKTIONEN DES VERGASERS
EinVergaser fuhrt drei wich tige Funktianen ous:
l )Andert das Verholtnis l uft-Vergoser in Bezug auf die Betriebsbedingungen und auf die Motoranlorderungen .
2 )Erzeugt eine genou zerstoubte M ischung. Die Zerstoubung ist die Mischung von luft und FILjssig keit, urn ein leines Spritzen oder Dampf zu
schoffen. Die Zerstoub ung des Kraflstoffes ist soviel w ichtig w ie die richtige Mischung von L uft und Kroftstoff.
3)Reguliert d ie Menge der Luft-Kraftstoffmischung, w elche vom M otor benotigt ist.
