Chapter 66. Simple Rate Limiter configuration mode
This chapter provides an alphabetic listing of commands that are available in
Simple Rate Limiter configuration mode.
To enter this configuration mode, use the Global simple-rate-limiter command.
While in this mode, define the Simple Rate Limiter.
All of the commands that are listed in "Common commands" on page 2 and most,
but not all, of the commands that are listed in Chapter 114, "Monitoring
commands," on page 949 are also available in Simple Rate Limiter configuration
mode.
action
Determines the action to take when the rate of requests exceeds the threshold set.
Syntax
action {notify | reject | shape}
Parameters
notify Generate log message in the appropriate application domain. Log targets

shape Delay requests as much as possible to lower the transaction rate to the
