2.7 Removing and installing assembly car‐

Note
The removal and installation sequence is only for the right as‐
sembly carrier. The removal and installation of the left assembly
carrier is similar.
Window regulator, door lock and loudspeaker are secured to the
assembly carrier.
The door lock can be removed only together with the assembly
carrier.
If door window cannot be lowered on electric window version, first
determine the cause of the fault.
To do this, read the fault memory of the convenience system us‐
ing vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051
A- or -VAS 5052- ⇒ Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information
system VAS 5051.
If an electrical fault exists, rectify it first.
If an electric fault occurs on window regulator motor, it can be
unscrewed from assembly carrier and door window can be slid by
hand in the necessary repair position.
