– Lift a corner of side member extension -1- using wedge
-3409- .
– Firmly holding corner, forcefully pull side member extension
-1- from side panel.
Note
Cut bonding using suitable equipment, if required.

– Installation instructions
– Preparing body component for bonding
– Preparing new add-on part for bonding
– Apply 2K glass adhesive -DA 004 600 A2- to sealing surfaces
-3- and -4- evenly along the complete length of the side mem‐
ber extension -1- using double cartridge gun -VAS 5237- .
– Apply 2K glass adhesive -DA 004 600 A2- to front and rear
spacers -5-.
