1. From the Frame Relay Configuration window, enter a string of text up
to 80 characters in the Description box if you want to record information
about the WAN connection. This information will be displayed in the
running-config.
2. Select the Enabled box to activate the interface.
3. Use the pull-down menu to select the Link Management Protocol that
your Frame Relay service provider is using:
• ansi (Annex D)
• cisco (Group of Four)
• none
• q933a (Annex A)
• auto
The default setting is ansi.
4. Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) is enabled by default. If you do not want
the interface to use WFQ, click the box to deselect it. For more informa-
tion about WFQ, see "Configuring WFQ" on page 14-45 in the Management
and Configuration Guide.
