Configuring PPPoE for the Ethernet Interface

To configure PPPoE, complete the following steps:
1.
Access the Configuration for Ethernet window, select PPPoE for the
Interface Mode, and click Apply. The PPPoE Configuration for "ppp
<interface number>" window displays.
2.
Enter a description if you need to document information about PPPoE
settings. This information will be displayed in the running-config under
the appropriate PPP interface heading.
3.
Click the Enabled box to activate the PPP interface.

For most environments, accept the default setting of 1500 for the MTU.

to set the MTU manually.
