Used to create a static entry in the multicast MAC address forwarding table (database).
create multicast_fdb <vlan_name 32> <macaddr>
The create multicast_fdb is used to make an entry in the switch's multicast MAC address
forwarding database.
vlan_name - The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides. The maximum
length is 32.
macaddr - The multicast MAC address to be added to the static forwarding table.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Used to configure the switch's multicast MAC address forwarding database.
config multicast_fdb <vlan_name 32> <macaddr> [add | delete] <portlist>
The config multicast_fdb command is used to configure the multicast MAC address
forwarding table.
vlan_name - The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides. The maximum
name length is 32.
macaddr - The MAC address that will be added or deleted to the forwarding table.
portlist - Specifies a range of ports to be configured. (UnitID: port number).
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Used to configure the switch's MAC address aging time.
config fdb aging_time <sec 10-1000000>
The config fdb aging_time command is used to set the age-out timer for the switch's dynamic
unicast MAC address forwarding tables.
