Inspection Procedure J-5
No driver's door switch signal input to ETACS-ECU.
No door switch signals input to ETACS-ECU.
Driver's door switch
As the driver's door switch input signal is used to control the operation of the
following functions, any abnormality in this signal prevents these functions
operating normally.
D Lights left ON reminder warning function
D Power window timer function
D Headlamp automatic cut-off function
D Room lamps
Door switches
As the door switch input signals are used to control the operation of the
following functions, any abnormality in these signals prevents the functions
operating normally.
D Room lamps
Check door switches (Refer to GROUP 42 - Doors).
Check the connection of the door switches to the body.
Check the following connectors:
<Front left side door> D-13, C-133, C-213, C-226
<Front righ side door> D-01, C-217, C-226
<Rear left door> D-08, C-133, C-213, C-226
<Rear right door> D-06, C-217, C-226
Check the trouble symptoms.
Check the harness between the door switches and
ETACS-ECU.
Replace ETACS-ECU.
