CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE/CAMSHAFT
Grease the cotters Install the valve cotters using the valve spring corn-
to ease installation, pressor.
To prevent loss of
tension, do not TOOL:
compress the valve Valve spring compressor 07757-0010000

necessary.
Support the cylin- Tap the valve stems gently with two plastic ham-

CYLINDER HEAD INSTALLATION
Clean the mating surface of the cylinder and head.
Install the dowel pins and a new gasket.
Install the cylinder head on the cylinder.
Tighten the cylin- Install the five bolts and temporarily tighten them.
