LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
Turn the ignition switch ON and check the fuel
gauge.
All segments should blink.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Connect the meter side connector terminals with a
jumper wire.
Turn the ignition switch ON and check the fuel
gauge.
All segments should blink.
If the fuel gauge does not function properly, replace
the combination meter (page 23-9).
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the fuel tank cover (page 3-5).
Remove the three bolts, retaining plate and fuel
level sensor from the fuel tank.

FUEL GAUGE SEGMENTS
With the fuel level sensor float at the top (FULL)
position, turn the ignition switch ON and check the
fuel gauge.
All segments up to segment "F" should come on.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
