FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
SHOCK ABSORBER LOWER PIVOT
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Remove the dust seals.
Press the bearing out of the upper arm using the
special tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 22 x 24 mm
Pilot, 16 mm

Press the bearing
with the marked
side facing up.
Carefully press in a new bearing until it is flush with
the pivot edge (until the press stops).

Install new dust seals with the flat side facing in
until the depth from the pivot outer surface is 1 mm
(0.04 in).
Apply grease to the dust seal lips and the needle
rollers of the bearing.
Install the pivot collar.
