11.4.1 Link Integrity Monitoring
The 9160 G2 Wireless Gateway provides link integrity monitoring to continually verify its
connection to each associated client (even when there is no data exchange occurring). To do
this, the AP sends data packets to clients every few seconds when no other traffic is passing.
This allows the access point to detect when a client goes out of range, even during periods
when no normal traffic is exchanged.The client connection drops off the list of associated
clients within 300 seconds of a client disappearing, even if they do not disassociate (but
went out of range).

Neighboring Access Points
The status page for "neighboring access points" provides real-time statistics for all access
points within range of the access point on which you are viewing the Administration Web
pages. To view information about other access points on the wireless network, navigate to
Status > Neighboring Access Points (see Figure 11.5 on page 130).
