SCAN OPERATION
I Skip channel setting
The memory skip function speeds up scanning by checking
only desired memory channels. Set the memory channels to
be skipped or scanned as follows.
Separate setting for each band

Push the desired band's tuning dial.

Select the memory channel to program or to cancel the
skip function on:
➥ Select memory mode by pushing the selected band's [M/CALL]
once or twice.
➥ Rotate the selected band's tuning dial to select the memory
channel.

Push [SET] one or more times until "CHS" appears as
shown above.
• Pushing [MONI] reverses the order of selection.

Rotate the selected band's tuning dial to turn the skip func-
tion ON or OFF on the selected channel.

➥ Push [Y] or [Z] to select a memory channel.
