I Programming a memory channel

VFO mode settings, including the set mode contents such as
subaudible tone frequency, etc., are programmed into a mem-
ory channel.
Set the desired frequency in VFO mode:
➥ Push the desired band's [V/MHz] to select VFO mode.
➥ Set the frequency using the desired band's tuning dial.
➥ Set other data (e.g. tone frequency, etc.) if required.
Push [S.MW] momentarily.
• "!" and the memory channel number flashes.
Rotate the tuning dial to select the memory channel to be

To save the sub-audible tone setting to 67 Hz on the Icom IC-2710H for transmission, follow these steps:

1. Enter the desired frequency and ensure the radio is in VFO mode.
2. Access the tone setting by pressing the appropriate button (e.g., [SET] or similar).
3. Navigate to the sub-audible tone frequency setting using the tuning dial.
4. Select 67.0 Hz as the tone frequency.
5. Exit the tone setting mode by pressing [ECLR] or the tuning dial.
6. To save the tone setting permanently, overwrite the memory channel with the updated settings.

Note: If you do not overwrite the memory channel, the tone setting will be cleared when switching to memory/call mode.
