MEMORY OPERATION
I Transferring memory
contents
This function transfers a memory channel's contents into a VFO
(or another memory/call channel). This is useful when search-
ing for signals around a memory channel frequency and for re-
calling the offset frequency, subaudible tone frequency, etc.

Questions and answers
Set sub-audible tone to 67 Hz. How do I save it so that it transmits?
To save the sub-audible tone setting to 67 Hz on the Icom IC-2710H for transmission, follow these steps:
1. Enter the desired frequency and ensure the radio is in VFO mode.
2. Access the tone setting by pressing the appropriate button (e.g., [SET] or similar).
3. Navigate to the sub-audible tone frequency setting using the tuning dial.
4. Select 67.0 Hz as the tone frequency.
5. Exit the tone setting mode by pressing [ECLR] or the tuning dial.
6. To save the tone setting permanently, overwrite the memory channel with the updated settings.
Note: If you do not overwrite the memory channel, the tone setting will be cleared when switching to memory/call mode.
