Installing and Removing a Hot-Swap SATA Drive
(SR1630HGP)
You can install up to three hot swappable SATA drives. The HDD0 drive bay is at the left
side of the chassis; the HDD1 drive bay is in the middle of the chassis—underneath the
optional optical drive. The HDD2 drive bay is at the right side of the chassis. You do not
need to install the drives in order; you can install HDD1 before HDD0.
Cautions: If you install less than three drives or devices, the empty drive bays must be occupied by
carriers with baffles to maintain proper system cooling.

1. If it is installed, remove the front bezel. For instructions, see

2. Locate the drive position you want to use. See
