Command Usage
The path cost method is used to determine the best path between
devices. Therefore, lower values should be assigned to ports attached to
faster media, and higher values assigned to ports with slower media. Note
that path cost (page 4-216) takes precedence over port priority (page
4-220).

Console (config)# spanning-tree pathcost method long

spanning-tree transmission-limit

Use this command to configure the minimum interval between the
transmission of consecutive RSTP BPDUs. Use the no form to restore the
default.
Syntax
spanning-tree transmission-limit count
no spanning-tree transmission-limit
count -The transmission limit in seconds. (Range: 1-10)
