961/962 Operations and Reference Manual, Rev. A
must restart the system: Press the PWR key to turn the
961/962 off, then press it again to restart.
The restored database will now be used.
Undoing a restore
As long as power is still on after you've restored a database,
you'll have the option to undo the restore. However, if you
restart the system by turning it off and then back on, you will
permanently lose the option to undo the restore operation. Be
aware that an accidental loss of power to the system will also
produce the same result.
1. At the DATABASE FUNCTION screen, press the UNDO
RESTORE key. This key only appears after you've
restored a database (a database that hasn't been restored
can't be undone).
The SELECT A RESTORED DATABASE TO UNDO
dialog box appears. Depending on which database you've
just restored, press either the USER PREFERENCE key,
the WAYPOINTS AND ROUTES key, or the ALL key. In
the sample screen below, only the USER PREFERENCE
key appears.
