waypoints on the steering screens, see "Steering to a waypoint"
starting on page 10-2.
You can sort the waypoint list by the following:
symbol
name
distance from your present position
bearing
At the WAYPOINTS screen, press the CURSOR PAD left or
right to select the particular sort field (whenever you sort the
waypoints list, you retain the currently selected waypoint).
To show a list of waypoints sorted by symbol—with similar
symbols listed together—press the CURSOR PAD left to
highlight the SYMBOL column (shown at the far left without a
heading). This makes it easy, for example, to see all waypoints
using the fish symbol. To choose the desired symbol, press the
LEFT ARROW and RIGHT ARROW keys below the KEYPAD.
Note that waypoints with the same symbol are also sorted
alphabetically.
To show waypoints in alphabetical order, press the CURSOR
PAD left or right to highlight the NAME column. Waypoints
with a special character or a number as the first character
appear at the top of the list.
To show the waypoints near your present position, press the
CURSOR PAD left or right to highlight the DISTANCE column,
and those waypoints will appear in order at the top of the list.
The DISTANCE column is automatically updated as you
continue to navigate. However, the order of the list won't be
