You can sort either of these lists by pressing the CURSOR PAD
left and right to highlight each chart-list category.
You can sort the list by CHART NO., CHART NAME, USAGE, or
SCALE by pressing the CURSOR PAD left or right to highlight
each category. To search a long list of charts, use the KEYPAD
to enter in the SEARCH field one or more characters (either
number, name, or usage) that describe what you want to find.
You can view detailed information about each selected chart
by pressing the INFO key several times.
You can also change the charts' usage (mark charts as
PREFER, NORMAL, or AVOID; for details about this function,
see "Common chart functions" starting on page 13-63).
You can select a north-up plotter grid by pressing the GRID
key. A grid is automatically displayed if you navigate into an
area for which there isn't a chart. The grid displays the lat/lon
coordinates for your cruising area in Mercator projection. You
can zoom in repeatedly, or zoom out to cover a large area.
For details about managing chart files, see "Loading, updating,
and deleting charts" starting on page 13-35.
To add tide-station information to the CHART screen, press the
OVERLAY key, then press the SHOW TIDES key.
