Chapter 8 - Creating Routes
At the routes screen, press the CURSOR PAD left or right to
select the particular sort field (whenever you sort the routes
list, you retain the currently selected route).
To show those routes marked for display on the CHART screen
Sorting by chart
or those routes marked to accept SAVE keypresses (both
display and save
expressed with the word ON), press the CURSOR PAD left or
status
right to highlight the CHT column or the SAVE column,
respectively, and those routes will appear at the top of the list.
To show routes in alphabetical order, press the CURSOR PAD
Sorting by name
left or right to highlight the NAME column. Routes with a
special character or a number as the first character appear at
the top of the list.
To show routes sorted by date of modification, press the
Sorting by date
CURSOR PAD left or right to highlight the MODIFIED column,
and the most recently modified routes will appear at the top of
the list.
To show the routes sorted by length, press the CURSOR PAD
Sorting by length
left or right to highlight the LENGTH column, and the shorter
routes will appear at the top of the list.
To show the sorted routes by distance, press the CURSOR
Sorting by
PAD left or right to highlight the PROXIMITY column, and the
proximity
routes closest to your position will appear at the top of the list.

Searching for a route

If you've stored hundreds of routes, scrolling through the
entire list to find the one you want may be tedious. Instead,
you can search the entire database for a particular route. At
the ROUTES screen, press the CURSOR PAD left or right to
highlight the NAME column, and enter a search request in the
SEARCH FOR field using the KEYPAD to type in the first few
characters of the route's name.
