Petrol filler nozzle restrictor
To help the atmosphere, your vehicle has been designed to operate on UNLEADED
PETROL. A petrol nozzle restrictor is fitted to ensure that only UNLEADED petrol is
used. This allows the smaller diameter, unleaded petrol nozzle to open the hinged
flap inside the filler neck, so that petrol can be added to the tank. The leaded petrol
nozzle is wider and therefore cannot open the flap. The use of fuel other than unleaded
fuel will seriously damage the fuel system of your vehicle (particularly the catalytic
converter and oxygen sensor) and may void your Warranty.
Petrol requirements R.O.N. (Research Octane Number)
Use clean, UNLEADED PETROL of at least 91 octane rating. High octane (PREMIUM
UNLEADED) can be used and will provide slight improvement in engine performance.
WARNING:
The use of any fuel other than the fuel specified, may cause serious damage
to your vehicle and may void your warranty. Only clean fuel of good quality
should be used.
