LOCKS
EMERGENCY PROCEDURE FOR ELECTRIC DOOR LOCKS
Unlocking and locking the driver's door in the event of malfunction of
the central locking system.
(e.g. If the vehicle battery is flat.)
(A) To unlock
Turn the key in the driver's door-lock
towards the front of the vehicle, turning it
beyond its resistance point until it will not
move any further. Turn the key back to the
vertical position and remove it; raise the
door handle. The lock button remains in
the pressed position.
(B) To lock
With the driver's door closed, turn the key
towards the rear of vehicle until it will not
move any further. Turn the key back to the
vertical position and remove it.
The other doors can be unlocked and
locked by operating the interior lock
buttons.
Emergency – accident
Locked doors are unlocked automatically in the event of an accident (to allow
assistance from outside), provided that the ignition is not switched off.
