Window winders
Turn the handle on the door to raise or
lower a window.
Electric front windows (if fitted)
The main switches for the windows are
located in the driver side door pull-handle.
The RHS switch controls the driver's
window and the LHS switch controls the
passenger window.
An individual switch is located on the front
passenger door pull-handle for the front
passenger window.
Control indicators in the switches glow
when the switches are operational.
To operate the window in stages, tap the
associated switch. For full closing or
opening, keep the switch pressed for
slightly longer. To stop the window during
full opening or closing, tap the associated
switch.
If the window glass encounters significant
resistance during full closing (above the
half way point), the window movement is
immediately reversed to fully open.
To override this protective system (e.g. if
the windows do not move easily due to
frost) repeatedly tap the associated switch
until the window closes.
To avoid risks associated with incorrect
use of electric windows, remove the key
from the ignition switch when leaving the
vehicle.
