SERVICING
When it comes to service, remember that your Holden Retailer has the trained
personnel and specialised equipment to correctly service your vehicle. Your Retailer
invites you to return for all your service needs both during and after the warranty period.
The safety, economy, emission control, performance and reliability of your vehicle
cannot be assured unless regular maintenance is performed, preferably by factory-
trained technicians at Holden Retailers.
Therefore, it is in the owner's interest that the following services are performed at the
specified Distance or Months (whichever occurs first).
1 500 km - 1 month inspection
15 000 km - 1 year
30 000 km - 2 years
45 000 km - 3 years
60 000 km - 4 years
75 000 km - 5 years
90 000 km - 6 years
105 000 km - 7 years
120 000 km - 8 years
135 000 km - 9 years
150 000 km - 10 years
165 000 km - 11 years
180 000 km - 12 years
The services shown in this schedule between 15 000 km and 180 000 km are to be
performed after 180 000 km at the same intervals.
Note: All maintenance services as listed in this Handbook and replacement of service
items are the responsibility of the owner and as such are NOT considered, under the
provisions of the New Vehicle Warranty to be rectification of defective material and
workmanship. Items such as wheel alignment, necessary adjustments to drive belts,
transmission, clutch, park brake, etc. or any other items which may require servicing due
to fair wear and tear will be carried out at the owner's cost.
Damage caused by failure to have proper maintenance services carried out by an
authorised Holden Retailer or authorised Service Outlet, or in accordance with Holden
specifications, may void your New Vehicle Warranty. It is strongly recommended that
you read the New Vehicle Warranty in Chapter 9 so that you are aware of your Warranty
exclusions.
Service coupons are provided further on in this chapter. When each service is performed
the coupon is removed so that the following service coupon is readily visible to remind
you when the next service is due.
After the service is completed, the owner should check that the service has been
validated, by the Retailer stamping and signing the coupon stub. This is important as it
will not only assist in the determination of Warranty Claims, but will enhance the value
of the vehicle when selling.
SERVICE INTERVALS
The one month (1500 kilometres)
inspection will be performed without cost
for labour by the Selling Retailer.
This service may be carried out by another
Holden Retailer provided you have a
letter of Introduction from the Selling
Retailer.
Your Retailer will supply the necessary
letter of Introduction upon request.
