Engine temperature gauge
The engine temperature gauge shows the
coolant temperature only if the coolant
level is adequate. Refer to Chapter 7 for
information about checking the coolant
level.
NEEDLE IN ZONE AT LEFT
Engine has not reached operating
temperature.
NEEDLE BETWEEN ZONES
Engine is at normal operating temperature.
NEEDLE IN ZONE AT RIGHT
Engine temperature is too high. Stop the
vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so. Refer
to Chapter 6.
Fuel gauge
When the Y symbol on the fuel gauge
lights up, the fuel level is down to the
reserve area. If the fuel tank is almost
empty the symbol will begin to flash.
Refuel before the
Never allow the fuel tank to become empty.
Refer to Chapter 5 for information about
refuelling.
Instrument lighting
When the parking lights or headlights are
switched on, adjust the instrument
brightness by turning the thumb wheel
located on the lower right-hand side of the
headlight switch.
