KNOW YOUR CAR
Forward / rearward
The driver's side seat and front passenger
seat on some models can be adjusted
forward and rearward.
If fitted, lift the handle at the front of the
seat and slide the seat as required. Release
the handle and try to move the seat, to
ensure that the catch has locked in position.
WARNING:
Never adjust the driver's seat
whilst driving. The seat could
move suddenly and cause the
driver to lose control.
Recline / incline
To adjust the angle of the back of the seat,
turn the large, toothed wheel as illustrated.
WARNING:
To
avoid
effectiveness of seat belts it is
recommended that the reclining
seats be used in no more than a
semi-reclined position when the
vehicle is moving. The fully
reclined position should be used
only
when
stationary.
Driver's height adjustment (if fitted)
Lift the lever at the front, left-hand side of
the seat and remove body weight from the
seat to raise the seat.
Lift the lever and press down on the seat
with body weight to lower the seat.
Never adjust the driver's seat whilst driving.
The seat could move suddenly and cause
the driver to lose control.
