Roof racks
For safety reasons and to avoid damaging the roof, only the roof rack approved for your
vehicle by Holden, should be used.
WARNING:
The maximum allowable roof load is 100 kg (including the roof rack weight).
Roof rack loads alter the handling of a vehicle due to a change in the centre of gravity.
When carrying loads on the roof rack, avoid abrupt swerving or sharp steering. The
load should be evenly distributed and you should not drive faster than 120 km/h.
The weight on the roof rack must be included when working out the maximum vehicle
load (GVM). The roof rack load should be treated as luggage.
Towing
BARINA
WARNING:
This vehicle is not designed or intended to be used for towing. Towing may
affect handling, durability and economy.
COMBO
This vehicle is designed primarily as a passenger vehicle, so handling, durability and
economy may be affected by towing a caravan or a trailer. Before attempting any
towing, ensure that the correct equipment and any necessary modifications are fitted
and that the maximum towing capacity is not exceeded.
The towing capacity when trailer brakes are fitted is 1000 kg and when trailer brakes
are not fitted is 450 kg.
In higher elevations and / or mountainous terrain, you should reduce the maximum
towing and loading limits.
Note: Holden towing equipment is recommended where it is available. Where it is not
available, no recommendation is made as to the make of equipment which should
be used. Holden does not accept liability for defects occurring in towing equipment
that is not marketed by Holden or for defects arising from the use of such equipment.
The use of such equipment may void your New Vehicle Warranty to the extent that
Holden considers the non-recommended equipment affects the specifications or
quality of your Holden vehicle.
