DASHBOARD
Open the bonnet
The bonnet release lever is located beneath
and to the right end of the dashboard.
To release the bonnet, pull the lever
towards you. This allows the bonnet to
release but is prevented from opening by
the safety catch.
To open the bonnet completely, locate the
safety catch towards the right-hand side of
the bonnet and lift it upwards while lifting
the bonnet.
Fully open the bonnet and insert the support
rod into the slot provided.
Close the bonnet
Before closing the bonnet, release the
support rod and fit it firmly into its holder.
Lower the bonnet gradually until nearly
closed, and then drop it to close fully under
its own weight.
Always check that the bonnet is properly
closed and that the release lever inside the
vehicle has returned to its original position.
