Switching off
Tap button 'O': the cruise control is switched off and the vehicle slowly decelerates. To
continue driving, press the accelerator pedal in the usual way.
The cruise control is also switched off when:
vehicle speed drops below 30 km/h
the brake pedal is pressed, or
the clutch pedal is pressed.
RESUMING THE STORED SPEED:
Tap button 'R' at a speed above 30 km/h: the speed selected before the cruise control
was switched off is resumed.
The stored speed is erased when the ignition is switched off.
WARNING:
Do not use the cruise control when road or driving conditions could
require varying speeds. A constant speed may not be practical in heavy or
varying traffic, or on winding, slippery or rough roads.
Remember that when the cruise control is maintaining your speed taking
your foot off the accelerator pedal will not reduce speed. To quickly
deactivate the cruise control you should press the brake or clutch pedal,
or push the 'O' button.
The cruise control will not apply the vehicle's brakes. Therefore the
vehicle may gain speed when going down steep hills.
When climbing steep hills it is possible for the vehicle to lose speed. You
may need to switch off the cruise control and instead use the accelerator
pedal.
