SERVICING
ADDITIONAL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
If your vehicle operates under any of the extreme conditions listed in the following table
it is recommended that some items be serviced more frequently than the intervals
specified in the Maintenance Plan.
Note: The extra services listed below need only be used if your vehicle operates
continuously under the conditions specified.
If you operate under any of these conditions on a one off basis e.g. holiday trip, then an
extra service should be for that period only.
As a guide, if you operate continually for a period of one month or 1000 km under any
of the extreme conditions, then Holden recommends additional services.
If at any time it is considered that the following items or other items should be more
frequently serviced due to the type of operation or before a long trip, discuss the situation
with the service manager of your Holden Retailer.
Change automatic transmission fluid @ 60 000 km
or 4 years (whichever comes first)
Replace engine oil and filter @ 5000 km or 3 months
(whichever comes first)
Air cleaner element - replace @ 30 000 km or 2 years
(whichever comes first)
Pollen filter - replace @ 15 000 km or 1 year
(whichever comes first)
Fuel filter - replace @ 30 000 km or 2 years
(whichever comes first)
A = Stop-start driving, excessive idling or low speed operation as experienced in
inner city driving e.g. taxi, police, door to door delivery.
B = Caravan or trailer towing.
C = Extended heavy load high speed operation in temperatures above 35ºC.
