REPLACING THE CUTTER
If the tube or label tape does not cut properly even after adjusting
the depth and speed of the cutter, replace the cutter. Also, when
replacing the cutter, replace the blade receiver at the same time.
CAUTION
•
The cutter is designed so that it cannot be touched directly,
but if it is handled improperly, the blade may pop out and
cause injury. Never perform any operation that is not de-
scribed in this manual.
•
Do not leave replaced parts unattended. If they come into con-
tact with the hands of children, they may cause injury.
•
When replacing the cutter, be sure to turn off the power.
IMPORTANT
•
It is best to replace the cutter after about every 50,000 cuts.
(When using PVC tube with an inner diameter of Φ3.2mm)
•
Dispose the removed cutter and blade receiver according to
the rules of recycling, they should be left at the designated
collection point.
NOTE
•
The Mounted Cutter Count is counted regardless of the print
media being used. Also, any cutter operations performed
while printing with the cutter removed will also be counted
in the Mounted Cutter Count.

Turn off

Open
the cover.

Remove
the cutter.

Insert
the new cutter.
•
Paying attention to its orientation, insert the new cutter
until it hits the back of the cutter bay.

Remove
the blade receiver.
