Adjusting the Cutter Depth
If the cutter blade is becoming less sharp, adjust the depth of the
cut. Adjustment can be set for both "Half cut" and "Full cut. "
Changing the Cut Depth for Half Cut
The cut depth for half cut can be set for each type and size of
print media. The default setting is set to "Normal. "
NOTE
•
If it does not cut well when you change the print media,
adjust the speed of the cut. (P.20)
[Example] Half cut of label tape does not cut well, so make
the cut depth one step deeper.

The Half Cut Depth can be set in eleven levels:
"Deep (1-5), "Normal" and "Shallow (1-5)" .
•
Each time you press [
], the cut is deepened by one step.
•
Each time you press [
], the cut will become shallower by
one step.

[Shift] + [Canc] key.
•
The display returns to the character input display.
IMPORTANT
•
If you make the cut depth deeper than necessary, the cutter
and blade receiver will wear out quickly.
NOTE
•
If the half cut is too deep even when the cut depth is
adjusted to the shallowest setting, the blade receiver may
be worn out. Replace the cutter. (P.90)
