Connecting the AC Adapter
5
Put the battery
cover back on.
Push the battery cover in until it clicks into place, and close
it completely so that there is no gap between the battery
cover and the printer.
IMPORTANT
If the product has batteries installed and the AC adapter is
also plugged into a power outlet, the AC adapter will be giv-
en priority as the power supply. However, it is recommend-
ed that you remove the batteries when using the AC adapter,
as they will be drained otherwise.
If the batteries are installed and the AC adapter is connect-
ed to the product, do not disconnect the AC adapter during
printing. The product will not be able to print properly if you
do so.
When printing using battery power, even if the AC adapter
is connected during printing, the power supply will not be
switched until printing is finished.
The remaining battery power cannot be displayed correctly
directly after switching the power supply from the AC adapt-
er to the batteries. Once printing starts, the remaining capac-
ity will be updated.
When using the (optional) tube warmer or when printing
large characters (character size: 6mm full-width), the bat-
teries will be drained quickly. In such cases, we recommend
the use of the AC adapter.
