INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
Installing the Printer Driver
IMPORTANT
•
Log on as a user with administrative privileges.
•
Close any virus detection programs or programs that run in
the background on the system beforehand.
•
If the printer and computer are connected with a USB cable,
unplug the connected USB cable.

Set the supplied CD-ROM
in CD-ROM drive.
•
When the [User Account Control] dialog box appears,
click [Yes].
NOTE
•
If the "AutoPlay" screen is displayed, click [Run setup.exe].
•
If the CD-ROM does not start automatically, double-click the
"setup.exe" file in the CDROM drive.

Follow the on-screen guidance
to install the software.

Accept the terms of the license agreement in
order to proceed with the installation process.

Turn-off the printer or disconnect
the USB cable before you click [Install].
•
After installation, be sure to reboot your computer before
using this product.
