Selecting Test Features
Using DS1 LOOP Codes
3 Choose the INBAND LOOP CODE from the choices given.
4 To transmit a code select the TRANSMIT CODE field on the
code is sent for nominally eight seconds.
HOW TO:
Monitor/view received loop codes
5 Choose SIGNAL
the LINE CODE to match the setting on the Transmitter display.
6 Choose
7 Set the INBAND LOOPUP and LOOPDOWN fields to the required codes.
Note the instrument receiver only detects the codes you have chosen. It does not
detect other codes in the background. If you wish to view other codes, then you
must select them in the appropriate fields.
8 View the results in the RESULTS window.
