User Manual for the NETGEAR 7200 Series Layer 2 Managed Switch Software Version 4
Configuration commands configure features and options of the switch. For every
configuration command, there is a show command that displays the configuration setting.

set gmrp adminmode

This command enables GARP Multicast Registration Protocol (GMRP) on the system. The default
value is disable.

This command disables GARP Multicast Registration Protocol (GMRP) on the system.

set gmrp interfacemode

This command enables GARP Multicast Registration Protocol on a selected interface. If an
interface which has GARP enabled is enabled for routing or is enlisted as a member of a port-
channel (LAG), GARP functionality will be disabled on that interface. GARP functionality will
subsequently be re-enabled if routing is disabled and port-channel (LAG) membership is removed
from an interface that has GARP enabled.
