Column technology
Columns may be configured with the TVM using no valves for direct injection,
one or two valves for two-dimensional applications.
Columns
The TVM supports nanoscale (75-mm I.D.), capillary scale (300-mm I.D.) and
microscale (1.0-mm I.D.) separations. You can choose among these options
when selecting columns for the system:

Nanoscale analytical columns:
–
75 μm to 150 μm I.D.
–
50 mm to 250 mm length
•
Capillary-scale analytical columns:
–
300 μm I.D.
–
50 mm to 150 mm, length
•
Microscale analytical columns:
–
500 μm to 1 mm I.D.
–
50 mm to 150 mm length
–
Filter or guard column at 35 mm length
•
Trap columns:
–
180 μm to 500 μm I.D.
–
20 mm to 23 mm length
•
Ion exchange columns with SCX material
–
180 μm I.D.
–
240 mm length
